The story of my endeavour begins long before I was born. My ancestors, Francisco Palma García (1887-1938) and Francisco Palma Burgos (1918-1985) were renowned artists in the 20th century. They infused the streets of Málaga with their passion, creating some of the most iconic Holy Week sculptures, beloved and venerated by generations. Their art transcended our city, reaching other parts of Spain and gaining international acclaim.
The richness of their legacy and expressive creations in imagenary, painting and sculpture, have inspired me to continue the family tradition and create unique pieces of art that capture the beauty of nature, human sentiment, and expression. One of my first portraits in ink depicts my great-grandfather Francisco Palma García finishing his "Piedad" in his studio bathed in overhead light.
